Caring for pearls
Pearls have been renowned throughout history for their elegance and femininity, requiring gentle care to maintain their pristine beauty over time. These natural organic gemstones require delicate handling, and the following tips will help you in preserving the beauty of your pearls for years to come.

Gentle cleaning
Pearls are delicate materials, ensure to wipe them down with a damp soft cloth after each use to get rid of any dust and other foreign debris. The cloth included in your order box is highly effective.
Deep cleaning is usually not recommended if routine care is exercised. If necessary, combine warm water with mild soap and use a soft damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid immersing pearls in water for an extended period, as it may harm the outer layer of the pearl.

Beware of chemicals
A lot of the contents we use daily can have damaging effects on the pearls, such as makeup and hairspray. These products carry harmful chemicals that can damage the outer layers of the pearl.
Chlorine and bleach are harsh solutions and avoid using bleach, and be sure to remove them before going into a swimming pool.

Store pearls carefully
When you are not wearing your pearls, store them inside a fabric-lined soft pouch and avoid direct sunlight exposure. It is also best to use separate pouches for pearls and other jewelry to avoid scratching. Store pearls in climate-controlled rooms for the optimal temperature.
Rough surfaces and objects can damage the pearls as they are delicate materials and can chip easily. Keep them pristine by giving them that extra care.

Wear pearls regularly
Because pearls are organic gemstones, the natural oils from your skin serves as a hydrant that helps keep them looking pristine. The more you wear, the better! It is still essential, however, to wipe and clean the pearls after each wear.
